4th month milestone

Motor Development

*lifts head up to abt 45 degree when lying down
*able to keep her back straight if propped up by some cushions
*hold her head quite steady
*raise up hands when mummy or daddy gets near her to indicate she wants to be carried
*smile or laugh when see mummy or daddy

Likes

*loves to stand
*love to lift up her head when lying down on her back just like doing sit up
*watch TV programmes (especially Prison Break every Saturday afternoon)
*when changing diaper, loves to shift backward
*loves to grab toys that we pass to her & put into her mouth
*loves to lift up her clothes
*coo when talk to her

Time really flies & today (28th Nov 2006) Baby Jia Hui turned 4 months old (according to the Lunar Calendular)....And today, will be going to shave off all of Jia Hui's hair to become a BOTAK.... Early in the morning, Wai Po went to the market to buy fresh chicken cos she is going to cook steamed chicken for Baby Jia Hui....According to the older generation, when baby turns 4th month old, we will need to feed them chicken drumstick to let them have a taste of meat ......so that they will not be a fussy eater when they grow up....

Getting ready to eat yummy chicken drumstick that Wai Po cooked.....but look like Baby Jia Hui is not so excited about it... giving a 'Bo Chap' face... think she still cant get over the fact that she is now BOTAK... with some ugly cradle cap on her head....haiz
